I've been designing mechanical puzzles for over 10 years. My own favourite, Digigrams, is available commercially, from MI Toys. Several have been Exchange Puzzles at International Puzzle Parties in recent years, and several have been presented at Gatherings for Gardner, a biannual celebration of the work of mathematical recreationist Martin Gardner. A few others have been produced in very limited numbers with my permission. In 2008 a copy of my Watson’s Wormhole sold on an internet auction for $915. I wish I had a few spares!!! This is my attempt to catalogue my own creations, whether complete puzzles, or work in progress. I'm not as prolific as some designers, but my preparation work for this website has surprised me, bringing to light ideas about which I had forgotten. Initially the index on the left is just a prompt to myself, but hopefully in due course photographs and drawings, sketches and text will appear here. It’s currently in a totally random order. All material on this site is Copyright (C) 2000 to 2010 Martin H Watson. You are welcome to make a copy of any of these puzzles for your own purpose. Production of any of these designs on any sort of commercial basis is strictly forbidden. For permission to produce more than one of any of these puzzles please contact me.
